We had a great time in Becancour over the weekend. A great lunch with my SIL and then we headed out to catch up with the Olympic flame. Seeing it in a small village sure does offer you the opportunity to get up close and personal with the runners and see the action up close too. My oldest girls also have a memory that they can carry all their lives.
I am busy sewing my fingers to the bone getting gifts ready for the kids for this Christmas. Stop over at my sewing blog to check out the in progress pictures. I really have to buckle down to make sure I can get the quilts, felt food and jammies ready in time. Which reminds me I need to raid S’s drawers for a plain t-shirt. No point in buying him a new one he has so many.
I am also hoping to bake Christmas cookies with the kids this week or weekend. I have a feeling that school may get closed because of the storm that is on the way so I am heading out today to get supplies. Can’t have no milk in the house and I sure don’t want to go out in a storm with all the kids if I can help it. LOL.
All the shopping or gifts is done with the exception of stocking stuffs and Dollarama is my best friend for that. I am thinking pencils books and little toys that are good for car trips.
