Finding the right bra a can be a challenge. Typically I need to book an afternoon to go out on my own and take on the daunting task of finding something that lifts and separates without making me look like the girls are up under my chin or hanging out under my armpits. I find it especially hard because I am a bigger girl and most bras have spaghetti straps that don’t do anything but cut into my shoulders. I know that the straps really shouldn’t do any of the supporting, but lets face it, with a D cup and beyond skinny straps just won’t cut it. That’s why I was a bit hesitant when I accepted the opportunity to review two of the new Bali Bras.
I was sent the Bali 3385 ($ 41.75) and the Bali 3473 ($43) to try out and test them I did, taking them with my on my trip to Vegas and San Diego. My first impressions of the bras are very positive. They are very nice looking with a soft fabric that is very comfortable to wear. The straps are a little bit wider, which I love, and are cut in such a way that they sit very nicely on the shoulders and over the back. The 3385 is a minimizer which is nice for when you don’t want your chest to stand out and announce itself. The 3478 is a bit lower cut in the front which is perfect for shirts that have a deeper neckline and features the Comfort-U design that maximizes side and back support. Both are bras that I would recommend based on comfort, design and style and they have quickly become my new favorites.
The Bali 3385 and 3473 are available for larger cup sizes starting at C34-42 and going up to a DDD 36-42. You can pick up both styles as well as the styles pictured below at The Bay.
The Bali 3470 in pinstripe, 3470 in leopard ($ 40.75) and the Bali 3383 ($41.75)
