The plains will be alive with music this September when the classic musical The Sound of Music arrives in Edmonton. From September 19– 24, 2017, at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, enjoy all of your favourite things from the original score.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by The Trapp Family Singers by Maria Augusta Trapp. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony®, Grammy® and Academy Award®–winning Best Score, including “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss” and the title song.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC is part of the Broadway Across Canada 17/18 Broadway Season and will run in Vancouver September 12-17 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Edmonton September 19 – 24 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and Calgary September 26 – October 1 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
Tickets are available for the Edmonton showings now with performances from September 19 – 24 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, Sunday evening at 7:30pm with 2pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
