Share a Smile

How do you share a smile? In our house smiles are passed around with wild abandon. From breaking out in dance while doing dishes to singing (slightly off key) while cooking. It’s the little things tend to draw those smiles out in great numbers. Honestly there isn’t anything better to turn a bad mood around then a shared smile from my kids.

As a family we also work hard on giving back, especially around the holidays. I know all too well what it’s like to look in your fridge to see it only contain a few eggs and baking powder. Getting a basket of food from the food bank was a good as Christmas in my house when I was a kid. That’s why I love supporting programs like Snack Pack Canada’s Share a Smile.
Snack Pack Canadais on a mission to spread smiles across Canada and helping those less fortunate. Each day thousands of people do without food and end up going to bed with empty tummies. With the help of us, Snack Pack Canada is hoping to fill some of those tummies by raising $20,000 for Food Banks Canada! Let’s put smiles on the faces of those in need this holiday season. It’s a little thing that can make a big difference to someone. Here’s how it works:

-Log onto Facebook
-Head over to the Snack Pack Canada page and like it.
-Share a smile
Easy right! Each time you share a smile a $1 donation will be made on your behalf to Food Banks Canada. You’ll receive a ballot into their weekly prize draw (for those who have registered for the contest), PLUS You’ll earn a point towards one of the fun Smile badge. The more often you smile, the more donations, ballots and badge points you’ll collect.

Let’s do our small part to spread Christmas smiles and fill some tummies. For more information about Snack Pack products (including Juicy Gels and low-fat puddings) visit their website.
