Summer Vacation Starts Here #NextIssue

I can’t count on my fingers how many status updates I have seen lately that include the sentence “I’m heading on vacation soon, what should I bring to read on the beach/in the car/poolside?” Books are great to take on vacation, but more often than not I just don’t have the brain power while actually in vacation mode to really get into a good book. A magazine is many times more than enough to keep me happy during downtime.

While I always have at least one book on hand, my favourite thing to do is pick up a current issue of People or National Geographic and read an article in between requests for this or that from the kids. But which magazine to choose? Do I go for the magazine that appeals to my love of amazing photography, or do I pick up one that appeals to my love of celebrity gossip?

Next Issue

Thanks to Next Issue Canada I finally don’t have to choose. For less than the price of one issue of National Geographic I can have access to hundreds of magazines no matter where I am. No matter what your reading pleasure there is something available from Next Issue for everyone to enjoy, ranging  from gossip rags, to photography features, even hunting magazines for my husband.

The best part about using the Next Issue app is how much space it frees up. No more lugging heavy bags of recycling to the curb and no more having to find bookshelf space for the magazines I love to look at again and again. There are no more dog chewed copies that are hard to read because pages have teeth marks or have been ripped out altogether, just bright beautiful photos that I can pinch and zoom, or even screen grab for later.

Navigating the app is easy; you can even create a library of your favourites so that they are always at your fingertips. Set the app to download your favourites automatically when you have a Wi-Fi connection, and they will be ready for you no matter where you are. I love that if I don’t want new issues to automatically download I can ask to be notified when they come out via email. If I don’t have time to read an issue before the next one comes out, no worries, Next Issue includes a library of back issues as well.

Next Issue is available on iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad mini™ using iOS 7.0 and up, devices using Android 4.0 and up, and Windows 8 and Windows RT PCs and tablets. I currently have it installed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from Telus, My Surface Pro 2, and my iPad 4 for reading here there and everywhere!

I can’t wait to get started on my summer vacation so that I can catch up on my favourite magazines. Join me in enjoying your perfect beach read with Next Issue. For a limited time enjoy hundreds of magazines from Next Issue Canada free for 60-days with code 60Free. That’s long enough to enjoy your favourite reads all summer long.

Which magazine will you be reading first?
