Think Tank bags are bags that work. They are well thought out bags whose design makes caring camera gear, no matter what’s in your bag, easy. I have been lucky enough to own two Think Tank Bags, The Streetwalker – which is my bring everything and the kitchen sink bag, and more recently the TurnStyle 20 which I use as my walking bag.
The TurnStyle 20 is perfect for shorter outings when you don’t need to carry all your gear, or if you are travelling light. Recently I took it for a test drive while in Montreal for the weekend and it worked wonderfully as a touring bag. I was able to safely carry my Canon 6D, 24-105 lens, and 50 mm lens plus some extra cards, batteries, grey card, and even my Surface Pro 2.
The large yet lightweight, body-conforming TurnStyle 20 is designed for urbanite photographers and is ideal for a casual day of shooting. This body-conforming bag converts from a sling bag to a belt pack, enabling you to move and shoot freely while providing rapid access, flexibility and convenience. I loved that I was able to swing it to the front for quick access to my wallet and gear as I needed in one fluid motion. While it can be worn as a belt pack I would say it would have to depend on the weight of gear you were carrying. The interior is customizable which allows you to configure the bag depending on what gear you are carrying any given day. Besides the tough, water-resistant fabric, a rain cover is included for heavy downpours.
- Easy rotation for rapid access to gear and accessories
- Converts from a sling bag to a belt pack for increased comfort and flexibility
- Padded velour pocket fits a large tablet
The TurnStyle 20 is available for $99 from Think Tank or visit their store locator to find a store near you.
